The Canonical Visitation by Sr Mariette to Maryvale

The Canonical Visitation of Maryvale School took place on October 28, 2025, in the school auditorium. The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Dr Sr Mariette BS the  Delegate of the Superior General and General Councillor, and Sr. Violet BS Procurator General of the Bethany Congregation, Sr Dona Sanctis BS the Correspondent of the School, Sr Premlatha BS the Superior of Maryvale Convent, Sr Shanthi Flavia Menezes the Headmistress and Sr Celine Petra the Assistant Headmistress.

The dignitaries were welcomed with a vibrant program featuring a prayer dance and a dance drama emphasizing values of sharing, caring, and upholding values in life. Sr. Mariette inaugurated the Maryvale School website, commending the school’s digital progress and encouraging the use of technology to promote the Bethany Mission of Education.

In her address she emphasized on the Bethany Core Values of Prayer, Love, Truth, and Justice, urging students to live these values in their personal and community lives. She reminded everyone that education at Bethany institution should form hearts as well as minds.

The program concluded with expressions of gratitude by Mrs Pramila D’mello and Reolin Dsouza the School Pupil Leader compered the progrmme.
