Republic day celebration

Republic day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism in our institution on 26th January. The programme began at 9.00 am with the arrival of our respected Chief Guest, Mr Santhan Dsouza, PTA vice president, Mrs Veera Vaz, Asst Headmistress  Sr Celine Petra and Headmistress  Sr Shanthi Flavia. He was warmly welcomed by our Headmistress Sr Shanthi Flavia. The celebration commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Santhan Dsouza. The entire gathering stood in pride and respect. The ceremony is followed by various cultural programme organized by the 8th std. students. Mr Santhan Dsouza addressed the gathering. In his speech he emphasized the importance of respecting the constitution and contributing positively to the nation`s development. Then the programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Diganth of class 8.
